OWNER REQUESTS

In accordance with your By-Laws, Article V Section 6,

Additions, Alterations or Improvements by Owners.

No owner shall make any structural addition, alteration, or improvement in or to his Unit without the prior written consent thereto of the Board of Directors. No Owner shall paint, decorate or otherwise change the external appearance of his Unit, including the doors and windows, or of any fence, or of any exterior surface of the Building, without the prior written consent thereto of the Board of Directors. the Board of Directors shall be obligated to answer any written request by an Owner for approval of such proposed structural addition, alteration or improvement or such external change with thirty days after such request, and its failure to do so within the stipulated time shall constitute a consent by the Board of Directors to the proposed addition, alteration or improvement or change. The provisions of the section 7 shall not apply to Condominium Units owned by the Declarant until such Units have been initially conveyed by the Declarant.

The request should be very specific.  Please provide a detailed description which includes a materials list, dimensions, location and sketch if applicable. The request should also include a copy of your contractor's "Evidence of Insurance" for liability and worker's compensation insurance.
